Today was much like the 13 th . Mark and Jeff admit that their analyzing and arguing over the quickest route and the strongest winds is not 100 per cent accurate. Our skipper reminds us that it is still important to watch the weather and the barometer and to compare this to our computer calculations as these are not 100 per cent accurate.
We are now looking forward to some strong winds and we therefore hope we will have some better sailing ahead.
That night the wind picked up rapidly and the boat sailed a little too fast, throwing things around and making a mess of the deck. Gerry and Mark managed to pull the sails down and get the boat back under control. We used only the main sail and had a good speed of approximately 7 knots.
